CLUBS

*Annie Cast and Crew will meet Mr. Bellefeuille on the bus lane at first call and take busses 8 & 9 to the high school for rehearsal again this afternoon.

*Good morning from your SMS Civil Rights Team! This Wednesday was the start of the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr. This holiday literally means "festival of breaking fast" and marks the end of the month of Ramadan. It is celebrated over three days through prayer, feasts, parades, gifts, and charitable giving. Eid is a day of sharing what we have and caring for others. May you have a wonderful Eid this year!

*Today is also the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (also known by the acronym GLSEN) Day of Silence. This year, the theme for the day is the Day of (No) Silence. With a staggering 800 anti-LGBTQ bills introduced in the past year, it is especially important to call attention to the continued harassment and discrimination against members of the LGBTQ communities in our schools. Please join us today in calling out anti-gay language and bullying and instead showing respect and support for our LGBTQ friends and family.
