Margaret Chase Smith Elementary School saw a surge of activity over the weekend as families gathered for a Plant and Play family engagement opportunity hosted by the MCS Pride PTA.
This event provided an opportunity for families to come together, roll up their sleeves, and contribute to the beautification of their school grounds.
Parents and children alike got their hands dirty planting new bulbs and sprucing up the landscape around the school.
None of this would have been possible without the generous support of local businesses like Eldredge Lumber, who donated the mulch needed to bring this project to fruition.
