The program recognizes and honors some of the nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors. Each year, up to 161 students are named U.S. Presidential Scholars. Lamar is a varsity tennis player and captain of the Math Team. The Sanford School Department met with Lamar to discuss his accomplishment.
