The Maine Department of Transportation is conducting an on-demand public meeting to discuss improvements to the Powers Bridge in Sanford.

Powers Bridge is located on Route 4 over the Mousam River.

The meeting will give information about the proposed project, including video presentations and other pertinent information to help the public understand the project.

The two options being considered are rehabilitating the bridge or replacing it entirely.

The public meeting is to inform and invite public comments. The MaineDOT is interested in learning local views, discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues.

A link to the meeting can be found here.  Comments and any other input will be accepted through the website until March 17th or by contacting Senior Project Manager Devan Eaton at devan.c.eaton@maine.gov.
